Overview
Panoscopix was founded by Jim Watson as a boutique systems development and integration consultancy.
Jim has worked in the industry for over 20 years, from start-ups, to commercial software vendors (ISV), and technology
end-users in industry and goverment. We offer a variety of consulting services for technology implementers, managers, and planners,
ranging from programming, to design and architecture, engineering management and team mentoring, and strategic planning and
technology marketing.
The Panoscopix difference is our focus on mentoring – not simply delivering a report, a code module, or a recommendation,
but ensuring our deliverables create an immediate and significant impact throughout the team that can grow over time. We are
results-oriented and can build and execute what we recommend. We are hands-on, working with customer teams as a member of
the team, with our sleeves rolled up. We are believers in and practitioners of
the Agile Approach to software development, and have helped many clients adopt or improve their agile development capabilities.
We use SCRUM on our internal projects as well.
Panoscopix consultants have skills and experience throughout the enterprise, ranging from individual system projects, to system-of-systems integration, to enterprise
architecture. We work with Enterprise Architecture teams and organizations looking to establish their EA practice or improve its
effectiveness. Through keeping our developer skills sharp, we are able to bridge the gap that often exists between enterprise concerns
and the way in which systems are actually built.
We specialize in applying the agile principles to Enterprise Architecture – Agile EA – allowing for
systems development and enterprise efforts to benefit one another as opposed to be at odds with one another.
